What is a Corporate Coach?
A Corporate Coach is your partner for organizational
success.
The intention of the coaching relationship is to promote
growth and profitable change within your organization
and in its overall functioning.
The corporate coaching conversation will establishes
a focus, promote discovery, determine a course of
action, removes barrier and review results.
How would coaching benefit
your organization?
- Coaching creates positive, lasting change. It
breaks down problems and encourages resolution
- Coaching helps people to become engaged and aligned
with an organization's vision
- It gives them the tools to develop themselves
and a safe environment to practice
- Coaching builds on individual's background, strengths,
fears and aspirations
What are the first steps?
The process begins with a phone or face-to-face consultation.
This first step is designed to determine the coaching
needs and the desired results of your organization.
Another approach is to "shadow" the leaders
or executives of your organization by spending a day
or two with them on the job. The main advantage of
these approaches is that they provide both quantitative
and qualitative information that is linked to organizational
events. Thus, allowing CSI to understand the challenges
facing your leaders and executives in order to map
the most effective coaching strategy.
What is the process?
Once a coaching strategy is agreed upon, each individual
being coached is required to attend a group session
that will properly prepare your leaders and executives
for coaching.
During the coaching sessions, the coach will continue
to refer to the organizational requirements, leader
attributes, and expected results, and compare them
to current performance.
Each coaching relationship works within a framework
that directs individuals being coached toward the
key objectives of the organization.
How do we review and sustain
success?
Three months after the initial meeting, we will do
a review to determine the
impact of the process on the individuals and the organization.
The results of the review
will acknowledge the progress, address areas in which
changes are still required, or
bring attention to necessary midcourse corrections.
Follow-up is a critical factor in the
success of the entire coaching process. Additionally,
to ensure overall quality,
assessment of the coach is essential.
